Cardi B was recently interviewed by E! Online while she was gracing the red carpet at the Swisher Sweets Awards. During the interview, she opened up about what’s like to be a mom and all the joys that motherhood brings.
She also addressed how she’s balancing motherhood and the hectic schedule that such a huge star has.
Cardi said ‘When I was pregnant, I always used to say, ‘Oh, I’m just gonna have my baby with me all day, and I’m going to get a nanny.’ And then, you know, once your baby gets here, you’re scared to get a nanny because you don’t want anybody around them. You cannot just travel with your baby all the time.’
The rapper also spoke on Kulture, and she highlighted the happiness of being a new mom.
‘[Kulture] is so fun, she is cool, like, I love her,’ Cardi said. She continued ‘She just makes the gloomiest days like sunshine. I love it. It’s is a slice of heaven—a sanctuary, my baby. I love her.’
Regarding the topic of Mother’s Day, Cardi also: ‘I am getting gifts. Hopefully, I get a cute gift for Mother’s Day. I’m a good mom. I’m good at a lot of things. The best job is a mom. I’m really good at being a mom.’
In other news, last Friday, Cardi B and Selena Gomez took the stage at the Coachella Festival but, unfortunately for the fans, they did not perform a full set. Cardi posted about this on her social media account, saying:
